Are You Serious? ‘The Wire’ is a college course? |
I find this strange. The Wire is a college course at 3 schools according to a New York Post article. The classes discuss the impact of the show in the community. If you haven’t seen the show while it aired for 5 seasons and you live in the hood then you didn’t really miss anything. The show had the same affect as gangsta rap when it came out. It was the truth. The hood life as a TV show. Anyone that lived in the ghetto can relate to it. The show exposed the life growing up in a drug infested neighborhood and challenges the police face to stop the crime. Anyway check out the article if you don’t believe me.
