Surprisingly while working out in circuit training I didn’t get tired. I felt like I could keep going all day(minus the pain). But as soon as I walked out the door, I was SORE! I went to a meeting/class for radio and I was fine in there too. No hunger pains, and I was drinking my third Gatorade. But of course at the end of the meeting it all changed. Two people busted out bags of chips and I could hear the crunch they made and could smell the Doritos. Lucky for me my sense of smell was turned off by the smell of someone walking into class late. I can’t even explain HOW it smelt. It was like baby powder, hair spray, and fragrance mixed into one. Ew. (more…)
I wasn’t starving when I woke up this morning. Don’t get me wrong, I am hungry. When I seen the food in the kitchen today, I was ready to snatch it and grub. This wasn’t ordinary temptation, this was past it, it was more like I seen myself doing it, but while I was imagining my hand doing it I jumped back into the physical presence and wouldn’t let myself go there. I felt like I had a JD moment (from the TV show Scrubs). Today feels weird, don’t know. (more…)
I’m an idiot for this. Of all the places I could write this blog I chose the school Cafeteria. You’d think I’d be goin crazy right now–I should be–but the food doesn’t smell good in here. It smells like a combination of miso, onions, beef, and there goes my sense of smell lol (perfect timing). Back when I could smell it smelt like something you would eat. But if you had chitlins or greens you know the smell of the food doesn’t matter all the time. If you missed my radio show today on KCRH 89.9FM then you missed how the last hours playlist had songs all related to food. I walked out of the studio REALLY on food mode. Going to the bathroom I almost gave in and bought a bag of chips. When I got home I walked into the kitchen and almost opened the fridge, then as I backed away I bumped into the microwave with bread sitting on top of it. I almost had to run out the house I was so hungry. Now I’m approaching the end of the day and I’m tired. The gym has my legs hurting too much to walk up the stairs to go in the library so I dragged my feet into the cafeteria. I want to eat! I’m drained but I’m not at the same time. I can tell you right now, if I was in a disaster and was on day 2 without eating I WILL FIND SOMETHING TO EAT. Right now there’s not much I can’t eat so imagine how I feel about food right now. I can’t wait for this to end. This ain’t cool at all. I’m not going to give up after going this far though. I told you. I’m hungry. |
